E-Waste Collection Policy
Last updated: August 2026
Electronic components and devices contain materials that should not be thrown into regular household waste. As a responsible seller of electronics, we support proper e-waste disposal.
Our Commitment
- We package products to minimize unnecessary plastic and packaging waste.
- We encourage customers to reuse or repurpose components wherever possible before disposal.
- We accept old, non-functional boards and components purchased from us back for responsible recycling — contact us to arrange a return.
How to Dispose of E-Waste Responsibly
- Do not dispose of PCBs, batteries, or electronic modules in regular household trash.
- Hand over old components, boards, or non-functional kits to an authorized e-waste collection center or recycler in your city.
- Many Indian municipalities and electronics retailers run e-waste collection drives — check with your local authority.
- Batteries (especially Li-ion/Li-Po used in robotics and drone kits) should be disposed of at designated battery collection points only.
Take-Back Program
If you'd like to return old electronic components or non-working project boards for recycling, email us at sparkindiapl@gmail.com and we'll guide you through the process.
This policy is in line with the general principles of India's E-Waste (Management) Rules.
